Rainer Warzecha & Interglotz Artnetwork - Murals
Welcome! Murals - it has been a start off in the early Eighties - with the legendary KuKuCK (1981) ... from that point on I did several projects with large scale painting - often involving schools or children. My technique in creating murals is based on airbrush, but additional spraycans and sometimes brushes and rollers are used. The idea is to take part in the public appearance and create some true colours against a plain commercial advertisement to spread over the whole length.
Until now, schools or public cultural institutions worked with me in these mural activities. Committed and talented boys and girls can share in the works. Local identification and acceptance is an important factor in this kind of art....
Please watch out for actual dates of work , as well as updates and links in the future... please hit some buttons! Pictures below give a impression, what we did on public walls AND grounds ...
The KUKUCK - where things started big ...
Up to now it remains the biggest wall painting, I have been involved in. It is the famous KUKUCK mural of the early eighties - a well known symbol of the squatters' movement in Berlin. We worked for about 3 months to paint the 2 big spaces and an additional screen.
With colour we did a lot. The number of murals and graffiti projects - realized up to 2015 - is large.
|Involving children in a huge format - is a a challenge - but a big thing. Also for their memory!||Earthen elements - when structures are built, they get decoration - a magic touch. Joyful beautifying.||One of the larger walls - the Wunsiedel mural in my hometown, realised with Annette Hähnlein.|
